In overall, the place is homey, has courteous staff with impeccable service. The location is best possible, next door to a subway station. It is located next door to a theatre and a palace. The hotel has got a great restaurant. When I am in London, I like staying here.

The hotel is situated in a quiet area. The decor in the public spaces is charming and well-maintained.
The overall presentation of the hotel is great, but the service could use more attention.

It felt warm and homely after I had been travelling for a couple of weeks.
There was a power problem while I was there and afterwards I was very anxious about using the lift!

Breakfast was very good. The room is very clean and the staff very friendly, the location in the very quiet 'Beaufort Gardens' is great and very quiet.
There is no breakfast room and only very low tables in the room, which is not very comfortable.
